At the 20th of march 1924 six active family researchers came together and
founded the Bremen family hstory society.
They want to use a short and striking name for the new society and named it Die
Maus. Two reasons are named for this:
First: they met each other the first time in the very nice local Bremen
restaurant Die Mausefalle inside of the restaurant under the
Bremen town-hall.
Second: Real mice in the nature has to be very busy to find something to
eat. The same is with family researchers: they have to be as busy as real
mice in the nature when they want to find ancestors and all about their
family history.
